Thank you for visiting the First Lutheran Church website. I hope that you will find it inviting whether you are looking for a church home, just want to visit, or just need to talk with someone. Here are some things that are very important to us:

Children are God's gift to families and are always welcome.

We offer Sunday school for children and Bible study for adults and youth before worship at 8:45am.

Jesus wants us to love God and to love others. This is what we try to do whether we are at home, at church, at school, at work, or on vacation.

On the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, we celebrate with a traditional worship using the Divine Services found in the Lutheran Service Book. If you are unfamiliar with the order of our services, any of our members are more than willing to help.

On the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month , we celebrate with a “contemporary” service with guitar and a praise team.

Both of our services are rooted in Lutheran Doctrine and shine the light of the Lord on all who attend.

We invite you to come worship with us just as you are! It’s not what you wear that is important to God, it’s who you believe in. We believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior who died for our sins and was resurrected to eternal life. He defeated sin, death, and the devil. Jesus assures us through our faith in Him, that we too share this eternal life with Him.

We celebrate Holy Communion on the 1st and 4th Sundays of each month. If you are a baptized Christian, and believe that Jesus Christ is truly present in the bread and wine, then we invite you to commune with us.

Through the Word and the Sacraments, the Holy Spirit directs our steps as we navigate the road of life - until He calls us home to be in His presence forever.

We invite you to come walk with us.
